Aluminum Sulfate CAS#10043-01-3
Products Description of Aluminum sulfate CAS#10043-01-3
This substance appears as colorless or white crystals. It is odorless and has a slightly sweet taste. However, industrial-grade products often take on a yellowish-green hue and taste sour, due to the presence of impurities like iron. It is stable when exposed to air; heating it to 250°C causes it to lose its crystal water. When heated above 700°C, it begins to decompose, producing aluminum oxide, sulfur trioxide, water vapor, and other substances.

Product Application of Aluminum sulfate CAS#10043-01-3
. Aluminum sulfate is a component of Nuclear Fast Red solution and a coagulant for removing arsenate from water. It is used to prepare Nuclear Fast Red solution, which is applied in histology and cytology protocols for red nuclear counterstaining. It can also act as a catalyst to facilitate the decarbonylation conversion of lactic acid to acetaldehyde. Additionally, it may be combined with graphene hydrogel to form a porous composite adsorbent, which is used to remove fluoride from water.
