Magnesium sulfate anhydrous (CAS: 7487-88-9) is an inorganic compound. The color of high-purity anhydrous magnesium sulfate is pure white. If it is an ordinary industrial-grade product, during the production and purification process, extremely trace amounts of impurities (such as iron ions or other minerals) may remain. Therefore, it may have a slightly faint grayish tint visually. It has a strong water absorption property. When exposed to the air, it will absorb moisture and gradually transform into hydrated magnesium sulfate (such as heptahydrated magnesium sulfate, which is commonly known as "diuretic salt").
