Products Description of GlycerolCAS#56-81-5

Glycerol (chemical formula: CH₂OHCHOHCH₂OH), also referred to as glycerin or glycyl alcohol, is a clear, colorless, viscous liquid with a sweet flavor.

As the simplest trihydroxy alcohol, it is a valuable chemical intermediate. It is soluble in water and alcohol, but only partially miscible with ether and ethyl acetate.
