Product Application of  Vinyl acetate CAS# 108-05-4

Vinyl acetate is mainly used for vinylon production. Homopolymerization/copolymerization gives PVA, EVA, EVC, etc., which are applied in adhesives, coatings, textiles, paper, and safety glass. Reaction with ethanol/bromine produces bromoacetaldehyde diethyl acetal (methimazole intermediate).
