Triethanolamine CAS#102-71-6
Products Description of Triethanolamine CAS#102-71-6
Triethanolamine—also called trihydroxyethylamine or amino triethanol—is a colorless oily liquid with an ammoniacal odor. It readily absorbs moisture and turns brown when exposed to air or light at elevated temperatures. At low temperatures, it forms colorless or pale yellow cubic crystals. It can be freely mixed with water, ethanol, acetone, glycerol; it is slightly soluble in benzene, ether, carbon tetrachloride; it is almost insoluble in non-polar solvents such as alkanes, and has a weak alkaline property. It is a viscous liquid with certain corrosiveness and is irritating to the skin and eyes.
