Products Description of Ammonium bicarbonate CAS#1066-33-7

Ammonium bicarbonate is a nitrogen-containing chemical fertilizer, also known as ammonium hydrogen carbonate (note: corrected duplicate alias), abbreviated as ABC, and commonly referred to as "gas fertilizer". It appears as white powder or blocky crystals with a slight ammonia odor, having a relative density of 1.58 and a melting point of 107.5℃ (under rapid heating). It is highly soluble in water, with the aqueous solution showing weak alkalinity, and insoluble in ethanol and acetone. It is prone to moisture absorption and caking. Chemically unstable, it decomposes slowly into carbon dioxide, ammonia, and water at room temperature, with the decomposition rate accelerating as temperature and humidity increase.
