Its main active component is the low-molecular-weight polymer of proanthocyanidins (OPC).It is one of the most efficient natural antioxidants discovered from plants to date. Its ability to neutralize free radicals is extremely strong (both in in vivo and in vitro experiments have shown that its antioxidant effect is approximately 20 times that of vitamin C and 50 times that of vitamin E).
