Product Details

L-Tryptophan CAS#73-22-3

L-Tryptophan (CAS# 73-22-3) is one of the 20 common amino acids that make up proteins. It is also a necessary amino acid that the human body cannot synthesize on its own and must be obtained through food or supplements. L-tryptophan is sensitive to light. It tends to change color when exposed to light for a long time. Therefore, it needs to be stored and transported in a dark environment.

Product Application of L-Tryptophan CAS#73-22-3

Amino acid-type drugs can be formulated into amino acid infusions, often combined with iron and vitamins. Co-administration with vitamin B6 may alleviate depression and aid in the prevention and treatment of skin diseases; when used as a sleep sedative, it can be combined with L-dopa for Parkinson's disease treatment. These drugs are carcinogenic in experimental animals and may cause adverse reactions such as nausea, anorexia, and asthma. Combination with monoamine oxidase inhibitors should be avoided.
