Products Description of Phosphoric acidCAS#7664-38-2

Phosphoric acid is additionally referred to as orthophosphoric acid (molecular system H3PO4). The pure product is a colorless, transparent, viscous liquid or orthorhombic crystal, odorless and very sour. 85% phosphoric acid is a colorless, obvious or barely light-colored, viscous liquid. Melting factor 42.35℃, precise gravity 1.70, excessive boiling factor acid, miscible with water in any ratio, boiling factor 213℃ (lose half of water), then pyrophosphoric acid is generated. When heated to 300℃, it turns into metaphosphoric acid. Relative density 181.834.

Product Application of  Phosphoric acidCAS#7664-38-2

Phosphoric acid is an acidulant and an inorganic acid. It is produced by burning phosphorus in excess air to generate phosphorus pentoxide, which is then dissolved in water to form orthophosphoric acid of varying concentrations. It is a strong acid and soluble in water. Its acid salts are called phosphates. It is used as a flavoring acid in cola and root beer beverages to provide the desired acidity and sourness.
