Products Description of Cyclohexane CAS# 110-82-7
Cyclohexane (English name: Cyclohexane) is a colorless liquid with a fuel-like odor. It is insoluble in water but miscible with various common organic solvents including ethanol, ether, acetone, and benzene. At 25°C, its solubility in methanol is 57 parts cyclohexane per 100 parts methanol. It is a flammable and hazardous substance with a flash point of 18°C. Its vapor forms an explosive mixture with air, with an explosion limit of 1.3–8.3% (by volume). Cyclohexane exhibits excellent stability against acids and alkalis (source: Chemicalbook).

Product Application of Cyclohexane CAS# 110-82-7
It serves as a solvent for lacquers and resins, and as a paint and varnish remover. It is used in the extraction of essential oils and in analytical chemistry for molecular weight determinations (cryoscopic constant: 20.3).Additionally, it is applied in the production of adipic acid, benzene, cyclohexyl chloride, nitrocyclohexane, cyclohexanol, and cyclohexanone. It is also utilized in manufacturing solid fuel for camp stoves and in fungicidal formulations (owing to its mild fungicidal activity), as well as in the industrial recrystallization of steroids..
