Products Description of Nickel sulfate CAS#7786-81-4
Nickel sulfate is characterized by its physical form—blue to blue-green transparent crystals—and chemical traits: it is odorless, soluble in water (as a nickel salt), and chemically incompatible with strong acids. Its industrial utility spans diverse sectors: it serves as a core reagent for nickel patch testing (a common detection method), a key material for nickel plating (to coat metal surfaces), and a raw material for synthesizing industrial catalysts. It also acts as a mordant to fix dyes in fabric dyeing and printing, facilitates the blackening treatment of zinc and brass, and is applied in the production of jewelry.

Product Application of Nickel sulfate CAS#7786-81-4
. Nickel sulfate (NiSO₄) has different forms based on its hydrate states, where water molecules bond with ions in the substance. Its crystal color varies with hydration degree—it can be greenish-yellow, blue, or green. It is used to nickel-plate iron and copper, as a catalyst, as a mordant in the textile industry, and as a coating for certain materials.
Hydroquinone, also known as 1,4-benzenediol, has a molecular formula of C₆H₆O₂ and a molecular weight of 110.11. It appears as colorless or white crystals and discolors easily when exposed to light in air. Its aqueous solution oxidizes to brown in air, with a faster oxidation rate in an alkaline medium. Its physical parameters are as follows: melting point 170–171℃, boiling point 285–287℃, relative density 1.33215, and UV λmax 288nm in water. It is highly soluble in hot water, ethanol, and ether, but slightly soluble in benzene. It has active chemical properties, is easily oxidized, and can undergo reactions such as esterification and substitution.
