Product Details

Products Description of Diisononyl phthalate CAS#28553-12-0

Diisononyl phthalate, commonly abbreviated as DINP, is a transparent oily liquid with a faint odor. As a high-performance general-purpose primary plasticizer, it exhibits excellent compatibility with PVC—no precipitation occurs even at high dosages. Its volatility, migration resistance, and non-toxicity outperform those of DOP, while also imparting superior light resistance, heat resistance, aging resistance, and electrical insulation properties to the final products, making its overall performance superior to DOP. Thanks to the favorable characteristics of products formulated with DINP—including good water resistance, extraction resistance, low toxicity, aging resistance, and excellent electrical insulation—it is extensively utilized in a wide range of soft and rigid plastic products, toy films, and wires and cables.
