Products Description of Lauryl glucosideCAS#110615-47-9
Lauryl glucoside, a surfactant and cleanser commonly utilized in cosmetics, is a glycoside derived from glucose and lauryl alcohol (see the entry for glucose). Its cosmetic-grade analogs include decyl glucoside and octyl glucoside. Alternative names for lauryl glucoside are: D-glucopyranoside, dodecyl; Dodecyl D-Glucopyranoside; Dodecyl-Glucoside; and Lauryl D-Glucopyranoside.

Product Application of Lauryl glucosideCAS#110615-47-9
. Lauryl glucoside serves not only as a surfactant in personal care products but also as a raw material for organic synthesis. It reacts with maleic anhydride first, followed by sulfonation with sodium sulfite to produce AG-SS. Additionally, it functions as an air-entraining agent for cement: it accelerates the hydration reaction, enabling uniform distribution of small air bubbles in the cement slurry and thereby significantly enhancing the slurry’s compressive strength.
