Sodium Laureth-2 Sulfate CAS#3088-31-1
Sodium Laureth-2 Sulfate CAS#3088-31-1
Sodium Laureth-2 Sulfate is a specific specification of the family of lauryl polyether sulfates (SLES). In the field of cosmetic raw materials, SLES is not an absolute general term for a single component, but rather a series of oligomers produced by the condensation reaction of lauryl alcohol and ethylene oxide. Compared to SLS (lauryl sulfate ester sodium), which does not contain ethoxy groups, Sodium Laureth-2 Sulfate introduces ether groups, making its molecule larger and reducing its penetration power on the skin. As a result, its irritancy is significantly reduced and its properties are more gentle. At the same time, it still retains excellent cleaning, emulsifying and foaming properties.
